Biography:
Elfyn Llwyd was elected MP for Dwyfor Meirionnydd in May 2010 with a majority of 6,367.
Elfyn Llwyd is Member of Parliament for Meirionydd Nant Conwy. He will be standing in the new constituency of Meirionydd Dwyfor in the next election.
He was born in Betws y Coed in 1951 and was educated Llanrwst and the University of Aberystwyth. Before being elected, Elfyn worked as a barrister.
His main political interests are home affairs, transport and agriculture. He enjoys pigeon breeding, reading, travelling and rugby.
