Supply Chain Finance scheme to help small firms access finance

The FSB has welcomed Government plans to introduce a Supply Chain Finance scheme which will urge bigger businesses to help smaller firms in their supply chains with access to finance. The FSB believes this scheme will help to reduce the number of firms that are paid late as well as improving their working capital. Parliamentary Update

Chi Onwurah MP mentioned her meeting with the FSB when stressing the importance of rural broadband during Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Questions. Stephen Lloyd MP urged the Northern Ireland Secretary to work with the FSB in Northern Ireland to boost the private sector. Lord Cotter urged the Government to look at FSB recommendations on late payment during a Lords Question.
