BASC: Congratulations to Peter Wilson on winning Olympic gold

The UK's largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), sends its congratulations to Peter Wilson for winning gold in the men's double trap final, a competition in which two clay targets are launched simultaneously in front of the shooter, at the Royal Artillery Barracks.

He has helped to raise the profile of shooting and shown everything that is good about our sport. He won the third gold of the games for Team GB.

BASC would also like to extend its congratulations to the sport's governing body, the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association (CPSA), for all the hard work it puts into helping every competitive clay shooter.
