Climate change bill

The government is seeking to establish a legally binding target for reducing Britain's carbon emissions by at least 26 per cent by 2020.
Five-yearly carbon budgets from the government, a duty on government to assess the risks faced by the UK on climate change and the creation of a climate change committee are among the measures it proposes.
