14/06/2008: BASC Centenary Ball

Saturday, 14 Jun 2008 12:24
As part of its celebrations BASC will hold the Centenary Ball at its historic Marford Mill Head Office on Saturday 14th June 2008. It should prove to be a fabulous evening with 300 guests enjoying a champagne reception sponsored by Pol Roger and a menu with dishes designed with the involvement the TV chef Mike Robinson for this most special occasion. This will be followed by dancing both to live music and disco and a chance to try one’s hand at laser clay shooting or breaking the bank at the gaming tables.

A ball for gourmets

The BASC Centenary Ball promises to be a memorable event, not least for the stunning supper which TV chef Mike Robinson is preparing.

The BASC centenary ball just gets better all the time. Now it includes a stunning gourmet meal specially dreamed up by TV chef Mike Robinson. Mike’s love for wild food is fully indulged in a series of mouth-watering dishes drawn from the stream, the field and the hedgerow.

A select few have already tasted the menu with unanimous acclaim. The meal will be preceded by champagne from Pol Roger and accompanied with excellent table wines.

So live it up at the BASC centenary ball. Dance off those extra calories, blow them away laser shooting, or put on a few extra pounds by breaking the bank at the gaming tables. It’s going to be the ball of the century.

Tickets are priced at £85, which includes champagne on arrival and wine at the table. To book contact Diane McKenzie at Marford Mill on 01244 573050 or email.

Tickets for this unique occasion will be on sale in December and are priced at £85 and can be purchased as a table of 10 or in pairs.

This will be a night not to be missed and should you want further information, please contact Nick Glazebrook at Marford Mill on 01244 573004 or by email
