The CIWM Show is the only event of its kind. It combines a comprehensive exhibition covering waste, recycling and resource management and the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management (CIWM) internationally renowned annual conference which is organised as a showcase for the industry by the industry's leading professional body.

Firmly established as the industry's meeting place for over 100 years, the 2008 event expects to attract over 6,500 attendees, 350 exhibitors and 650 conference delegates from every industry sector. The exhibition offers both internal and external stand space plus slots at two live demonstration areas for exhibitors to display their products. Discover a programme covering groundbreaking concepts, theories and development delivered through a variety of conference and briefing sessions. With over 100 industry speakers and a wide range of subjects, you can select which sessions are relevant to you. Booking starts in January 2008.

The Location

Torbay is located on the shores of Lyme Bay in South Devon. The mild climate, spectacular scenery and excellent facilities make it one of the country’s premier coastal resorts. With the extensive exhibition facilities, a wealth of accommodation and numerous restaurants, and good road, rail and air connections, it is an ideal venue for an international event.

The Venue

Running the length of Paignton’s seafront in Torbay, the CIWM exhibition consists of five linked sites offering both internal and external exhibition stands plus two live demonstration areas. In addition, the conference venue is located within the exhibition site, enabling delegates to access the exhibition easily at any time.
