The Disabilities Trust
The Disabilities Trust is a highly respected national charity, providing care, rehabilitation and support for people with physical disabilities, acquired brain injury and learning disability, as well as children and adults with autism.
Founded in Sussex in 1979, we now operate a national network of quality, innovative services, aimed at empowering each of our service users to live more fulfilling, independent lives. Through our modern, progressive facilities, complemented by a skilled staff team, we currently support over 850 people with complex and challenging needs.
Our services have evolved to seek new, imaginative solutions for people with disabilities. For example, in recent years, we have taken on a specialist school for children with autism in Berkshire and a service for adults with learning disabilities in Essex. We are also rapidly expanding our residential and community-based services across the country to meet growing demand for our specialist brain injury rehabilitation services.
