Low Incomes Tax Reform Group: How the tax credit changes will affect you

The Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) has produced guidance and a quick reference table to help claimants to see how they will be affected by changes to tax credits in 2016.

This week, the House of Commons approved plans to cut tax credits as part of the planned reductions to the welfare budget. The table enables people who claim working tax credits and child tax credits to measure the financial impact of the changes. LITRG’s simple table can be found by clicking on the link here, which will take you to the article on the LITRG website.

LITRG campaigns to improve the policy and processes of tax, tax credits and associated welfare systems for the benefit of those on low incomes.
