A&B: British Airways: Great Britons

As the official airline partner of the London 2012 Games, British Airways (BA) has launched a programme called Great Britons, which will help and inspire people in the UK to be the best they can be. This scheme will look for individuals who demonstrate the values associated with Olympic and Paralympic Games and who strive to be the best, whether their passion is in sport, music, fashion, performing arts, art and design, innovation, or community.

This year alone British Airways are giving away 180 flights (to BA destinations) to talented individuals and groups.

It is open to everyone (16 and above and UK residents) who need support to develop their talent in any field - whether they are the next Mark Ronson on the road to the Miami Music Conference, the future Sam Mendes planning a trip to the Cannes Film Festival, or even a local cricket team looking to train abroad.

Lucky winners will also have access to our luxury Executive Club lounges, and each will be given a winner's pack which includes a camcorder, perfect for recording their amazing adventure.

For many, this once in a lifetime chance gives them the boost they need for their careers to take off to the next exciting level.
British Airways is committed to all this and more, in our support of home-grown talent.

Lucky winners will receive...

a return flight in our World Traveller cabin
access to our Executive Club lounges
a winner's pack including a Panasonic SDR-S26 SD Card Camcorder to record this once in a lifetime experience
