Doubts grow over Spelman alibi
Ms Spelman's account has been called into question

The controversy around Conservative chairman Caroline Spelman continues to grow after former a work experience student questioned Ms Spelman's account of events.
Ms Spelman has defended her use of Tina Haynes as both nanny and constituency secretary because she lacked an office in her seat, meaning Ms Haynes had to work from her home.
But Janet Parry, a former politics student, has now come to say she applied and received work experience with Ms Spelman in 1997 at an office of the Meriden Conservative Association in nearby Solihull.
The news will further damage Ms Spelman's standing as the investigation into her actions begins by the parliamentary standards watchdog.
A Tory spokesman said: "Caroline Spelman has made it clear she will cooperate fully with the inquiry and will be very pleased to supply all the necessary information."
